FOUR PILLARS X NIKE

In conceptualising the Four Pillars x Nike Melbourne Table Tennis Club activation, the primary objective was to seamlessly blend the distinct personalities of each brand while fostering an engaging experience. Both Four Pillars and Nike stand as pioneers within their respective realms, embodying a shared ethos of innovation and creativity while boasting unmistakable brand identities. The challenge lay in harmonising these two dynamic entities through a vibrant fusion of graphic applications and colour schemes.

To elevate the playful spirit of the table tennis tournament, the creative direction draws inspiration from a bold, traditional table tennis colour palette juxtaposed with retro tennis-themed graphics and illustrations.

This infusion of nostalgia adds a layer of whimsy to the event, inviting participants to immerse themselves in a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of summers past. Furthermore, we intended to inject a dose of wit and irreverence into the activation by integrating clever play-on-words that nod to tennis, gin cocktails, and pop culture references throughout all collateral elements. This playful linguistic interplay serves to amplify the event's concept, offering attendees a cheeky and contemporary perspective perfectly suited for the lively backdrop of Melbourne's summer festivities, coinciding harmoniously with the Australian Open.
